I have been taking photos since I was 14, first on my iPhone, then with an Instax mini Polaroid camera before purchasing a film camera when going off to college. The majority of my work is shot on film, as I love the nostalgic quality it creates. For two years, I was living between New York, Phoenix and Los Angeles. Living in three drastically different cities really helped me capture the magic and uniqueness of each one. My main influences are William Eggleston and Kristin Gallegos. My aim is to capture the little moments and to create a feeling of nostalgia, not for the actual past, but for a time when we had less reliance on technology and felt more connected, both to our surroundings and to each other.
